Traces of the Hand is an exploration of the ethical responsibility designers have over their products as they continue to function and evolve in ways outside of their explicit purpose as garments.

This jacket is designed with traditional tailoring techniques using natural wool fibres joined to live moss, bulging and expanding in a symbiotic relationship that is intended to allow the garment to have a broader purpose than the wearer’s needs and wants.
