I can create bespoke designs for any body type and for any gender. My practice revolves around creative freedom and the expression of queer identities, and I pride myself on my adaptability to a brief, and to creating visually compelling narratives. Whether it’s heightened looks for drag artists, performers, exhibitions or runways, or for more my innovative approach to fashion and problem solving results in empowering and award-winning garments made from unconventional materials in non-traditional forms. I believe fashion can be liberating, but it can also be dangerous, challenging and subversive, and that these multiple frontiers deserve further exploration.
Having worked as a freelance designer since 2014, I have steadily been increasing my skillset across multiple platforms. From the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro, to sound mixing in Ableton Live, I am passionate about world-building and creating compelling visual and aural narratives. In 2020, feeling limited by endless lockdowns, I delved into 3D software including Cinema 4D, ZBrush, Houdini and Marvelous Designer, and now feel confident in my ability to add them to my toolkit in creating powerful visual imagery and animation. With this software I can create avatars, motion-tracked animated models, digital garments, complex materials and environments, emulate fluid mechanics and so much more, and I believe the past year has demonstrated the value and the power of digital content creation.
As an accomplished illustrator in both physical and digital mediums, I can work between hand drawn illustrations, and Photoshop & Illustrator. I can create detailed, clear and compelling fashion illustrations, and produce complex seamless Swiss repeat patterns for printing on wallpapers, accessories and fabric. Whether for more accessible and commercial purposes, or for private one-off commissions, I am available and passionate about bringing concepts to life on the page and screen.
